Spook Light Trip

Last night I went to the Spook Light, and learned something new. My
best friend from high school came by with her boyfriend. I hadn't
seen her in a really long time and since we had all been there
together before; I suggested we go to the Spook Light and they seemed
to like the idea. Once we got there her boyfriend said he always sat
parked on the bridge (over Warren branch) facing East and the Spook
Light approached the car from the west once up to a distance of 15-20
feet from the car. It sounded promising but between myself not being
able to stay quiet and my boyfriend's impatience with the light in
general, we didn't see it. I will be trying this spot again soon.
Thanks!

Spook Light Visitors

1866 is widely accepted as the first reported sighting, the Hornett Spook Light is infamous in the four state region. There are as many different legends about the Spook Light as there are stories about sightings of the light. Around here it is not uncommon to find several generations of people with Spook Light stories. Some people even offer alternate viewing locations, E 50 road is the most popular spot but E 40 road is also a possibility. Sightings even occur further west near Devil's Hollow and Devil's Promenade bridge. I have even viewed the light looking east at this location.

Last night/ this morning

It was really foggy when I went to the spook light last night. We got
there around 2:30 and I finally gave into my boyfriend's demands to be
taken home at 3:55. Saw some strange stuff but nothing amazing. This
was one of the first times I had visited the Spook Light at this hour and it was pretty creepy.
